One thing I love about medical anthropology is its scope. Just look at the schedule for the next few weeks of journal club to see what I mean. Tomorrow Nikki D’Errico kicks it off with a Jungian Inner Map of pregnancy dreams; next week we discuss the physiological consequences of social stressors in Kabul; and the following week we deal with genetic factors in racial differences in preterm birth. How about that?
